from that film in my collection was Shaam-E-Gham Ki Kasam.
While it couldn’t
have been anything but a sad song, the song had a word that left no doubts in
the minds of the listeners about its mood – it was ghamgeen.

written by Majrooh Sultanpuri, and composed by Khayyam.
