The subject of this post made it to this playlist purely because I was curious.
I had heard the recreated
version of O Neend Na Mujhko Aaye, from the 2015 film Shaandaar (but
more on that later).
It did sound
familiar, but I had to confirm that, because I didn’t know the film the original
song was from.
So, when I looked
it up online, I found that it was from the 1958 film Post Box 999.
Lata Mangeshkar
and Hemant Kumar sang it.
P L Santoshi wrote the song, which Kalyanji Virji Shah composed.
