It took the Hindi film music scene seven years to go from, “Give me some rain” to, “Make me rain”.
I am talking about a song that was a literal translation
of the latter – Mujhko Barsaat Bana Lo.
If the two songs from Junooniyat, which
released in 2016, were arranged in the alphabetical order, as well as in the
descending order of their durations, it would be the first – it was four
minutes and 26 seconds long.
The song, which was penned by Rashmi Virag, was composed
by Jeet Gannguli, and sung by Armaan Malik.
