Qila – which was released in 1998 – marked the final film appearance of Dilip Kumar, whose career spanned 54 years.
My collection
contained just one song from the film.
It was the
ironically-titled Wah Bhai Wah, a phrase even the most die-hard fans of
the film’s cast would not utter upon listening to the song.
While it was
Poornima’s only contribution to the soundtrack, the man who lent his voice to
(Ud)it was the one and only Mr Narayan.
Dev Kohli wrote
the Anand Raaj Anand composition.
The song was five
minutes and 24 seconds long.
