First Love Letter, which starred Manisha Koirala and Vivek Mushran, released just over a month after Saudagar, the 1991 film that marked the pair’s debut.
My collection
contained a couple of songs from the film.
If they were
arranged in the alphabetical order, Deewani Deewani would be the first.
The two people who
lent the song their voices were Lata Mangeshkar and S P Balasubrahmanyam.
The latter was the
only male singer to feature on the soundtrack of the film.
While the song was
penned by Anjaan, the man who composed it was Bappi Lahiri.
