The palindromically-named crooner rendered it

There were a couple of male singers in the Hindi film music industry whose names were palindromes.

The older of them was the one and only Talat Mahmood.

He sang a song titled Main Dil Hoon Ek Armaan Bhara.

It happened to be the only song from the 1952 film Anhonee in my collection.

The man who wrote the song was Satyendra Athaiya.

And the person who composed it was Roshanlal Nagrath.

Incidentally, both the songwriter and the music director were mononymously credited – while the former was known as Satyendra, the latter went by Roshan.
