The late Rajiv Kapoor, the youngest son (and child) of ‘The Showman’ Raj Kapoor, continues to be remembered (only) for his 1985 film Ram Teri Ganga Maili.
But the film that marked his debut
was Ek Jaan Hain Hum, which released in 1983.
My collection contains just one song
from the latter – the appropriately-titled Yaad Teri Aayegi.
It was rendered by Shabbir Kumar.
The man who composed the song was Anu
Malik, who was in the midst of a long struggle at that point.
It was written by Akhlaq Mohammad
Khan, better known as Shahryar.
