Kishore Kumar
seemed to revel in film titles with a blank, the word Ka, and another
blank, in which the first blank was the name of an Indian metro and the third
word described a criminal – in 1958, he starred in Dilli Ka Thug, and in
1962, he starred in Bombay Ka Chor.
The only song from
the latter in my collection was Hasrat Hi Rahi Humse Bhi Kabhi Koi Pyaar
Karta.
Firstly, Mr
Jaipuri didn’t write it – Rajinder Krishan was the lyricist.
And secondly,
everyone loved Kishore Kumar.
The song was
composed by Ravi.
