Balbir was in (Ra)fine form

Prior to the addition of this song to my collection, it contained a couple of songs from the 1956 film Jagte Raho.

If the subject of this post were arranged in the alphabetical order, Main Koi Jhooth Boleyan (Punjabi for, “Am I lying?”) would be the second.

And as odd as that would appear, it was a duet sandwiched between a couple of solos.

Two men lent their voices to the track – one was the legendary Mohammed Rafi, and the other was S Balbir.

Prem Dhawan wrote the song, which was composed by Salil Chowdhury.
